Boysenberries with their sweet taste and just a hint of sharpness are a delicious summer treat. Perfect to eat fresh or for making jams and preserves. Easy to grow but it best to provide some horizontal support. Boysenberries are Floricanes, and fruit on 2nd year canes. Deciduous.

A delicious berry that can be picked straight from the plant and popped into your mouth. White flowers in early Spring followed by large firm conical dark purple black berries. Crops December to Janurary. Fruits are ready when easy to pull from vine.
Moderately vigorous and mostly spineless canes.

Nut. Chestnut Nut trees have always been popular with the keen orchardist but you do need quite a bit of space for them. Medium to large, high quality, sweet nuts ripen about March and fall free of their prickly 'burr'. Very heavy crops on mature trees. Self pollinating. Deciduous. Worth a try.
Grafted, fruit when 3-5 years old.
